It all started when…

…we saw our darling puppy that looked like a tiny Bernese Mountain Dog. We’d always admired the big Australian Shepherds we’ve seen working the rural areas in Colorado. But our little town has grown well beyond its cow town roots, and a large shedding working dog seemed impractical in our suburban home. Some of the floofier designer breeds just didn’t fit with our stubborn pioneer sensibilities.

When we met little Willow, she reminded us of time spent on the ranch in our youth. She was a “real dog” in a more manageable package. It wasn’t long before we collected a couple more.

We want others to enjoy the unique characteristics of this clever, fun, and personable breed. They’re perfect for an active Colorado lifestyle and sitting on your sofa.

We’re not just a “backyard breeder” — we travel afar to carefully select our dogs’ mates and do genetic and physical health screenings to ensure that you’ll have many wonderful years with your Toy or Mini Aussie.

But we’re also the furthest thing from a puppy mill. We only have a litter or two a year. We’re your neighbor. And we’re right happy you’d stop by to sit a spell and talk about some of the best pups around.

Mercy and Secret were new additions to our program that we had hoped would be toys. They became Mini Australian Shepherds, however. We prefer toys for our lifestyle, however, so they are now available! They are housetrained, fully vaccinated, and through the “ruff” parts of puppyhood. In short, they’re the perfect pets! They would also be good breeding/show candidates. We’re only asking $2,500 each, so this is an exceptional opportunity. They tend to compete with each other so might be better in separate homes.
